1. Start with important pages
List your homepage, services or products, and pages that answer questions before a purchase. Give each page one specific visitor need.
- Record the URL, its purpose and the next step it offers.
- Check that you can reach it from navigation or a related page.
2. Review visible information
Read the title, main heading and opening paragraph together. They should describe the same page and help a visitor decide whether it answers their question. Avoid repeating a list of keywords.
3. Measure before and after
Record the date of each change. In Search Console, compare clicks and impressions for the edited pages over equivalent periods. Note campaigns and seasonality so you do not attribute every change to one edit.
