Prepare a brief with sources

Define what an article must solve before writing it.

1. One main question

Write the reader’s question and what they should be able to do after reading the answer. Define what is out of scope to avoid an article that tries to cover everything.

2. An evidence log

For each important number or claim, save its URL, the passage that supports it and the access date. If you cannot find support, remove the claim or frame it as a hypothesis.

3. Review before publishing

Check links, offer conditions and references to the business. Separate what a source says from your interpretation and the AI’s recommendations.

  • Does the answer address the reader’s question?
  • Do the numbers actually appear in the linked sources?
  • Is the next step useful and available?
